Black Kettle Farm, Lyman ME
Black Kettle Farm CSA offers 19 weeks of fresh produce from mid-June through October available on the farm in Lyman or for delivery to Portland's East End.
Pick Up Options:
Tuesdays - on the farm in Lyman, 4:30-6:30 PM Wednesdays - in Fort Allen Park on the Eastern from in Portland, 4:00-6:30 PM
A full share costs $500 and feeds a very veggie loving couple that cooks a lot, or a family of four that supplements with meat, dines out, or uses vegetables as sides.
Payment Options:
$100 deposit, $200 by March 15th, $200 by July 15th OR $100 deposit, $100 for four consecutive months A deposit must be placed to secure membership.
The share includes over 40 different types of sustainably raised vegetables that highlight the ever changing flavors of the harvest season. All produce will be harvested, washed, weighed and bunched and members bring their own tote bag or box for transport. Members will receive a newsletter with info and recipes and are welcome to visit the veggie trade basket to customize their share.
Black Kettle Farm utilizes ecologically conscious growing practices that promote and enhance soil health and bio-diversity in an effort to produce high-quality, beautiful and healthy produce. Black Kettle Farm is in the process of organic certification and currently adheres to all organic standards put forth by MOFGA and the USDA.
